Press Release Body: Parents for Choice in Education (PCE) recently hired Mel Anderson as its new Communications Manager. Parents for Choice in Education is a non-profit professional organization that acts as the leading voice for education, innovation and reform in Utah.
Ms. Anderson is very enthusiastic about encouraging progress in the education system and providing opportunities for Utah students to become leaders in the global marketplace. Prior to joining PCE, Anderson directed marketing and sales in several industries and provides market consultation to organizations in Utah and California.
Judi Clark, director of Parents for Choice in Education, remarked, We spent several months searching for the right person to join us and we are thrilled to have Mel on our team. She brings the background, expertise and passion necessary to fill this role in our organization. As Communications Manager, Anderson will strive to increase public awareness of educational news, issues and opportunities that affect the landscape of Utahs schools. Parents for Choice in Education will continue to promote educational excellence and accountability.
Increasing public knowledge about how our education compares on both a national and international level is crucial in order to promote change, says Anderson. Our children and grandchildren must be ready to compete in a world where outsourcing will be the norm rather than the exception. Anderson plans to make Parents for Choice in Education the primary source for information on Utahs schools and envisions a day when Utah will lead the country in providing a superior learning environment for its youth.
Parents for Choice in Education is a local grass-roots organization dedicated to ensuring that every child has equal access to a quality education by empowering parents, increasing choice, and promoting innovative solutions to Utahs educational challenges.
